When an addition or sunroom is framed, we take it from bare studs to a finished, efficient room. Each trade below is installed to ENERGY STAR / efficiency-rated standards — self-performed or coordinated through our licensed trade partners — so the space qualifies for rebates and performs for the long haul.
Heating & cooling
ENERGY STAR heat pumps sized for the new space — ducted or ductless mini-split — plus the ductwork and controls to tie the addition into the rest of the home.
Water & supply lines
Rough-in and finish plumbing for the new space, plus high-efficiency heat pump water heaters where the project calls for it.
Panel, wiring & circuits
New circuits, outlets, lighting and service or panel upgrades to power the addition and any new electric equipment — safely and to code.
ENERGY STAR windows
Efficiency-rated windows that flood a sunroom with light without leaking energy — sealed tight where new square footage meets the existing wall.

Insulated exterior, patio and French doors that hold the envelope tight and finish the transition into the new room.

What Energy Saver NC is — and where Lavi fits.
Energy Saver NC is the state's home energy rebate program, administered by the NC Department of Environmental Quality using federal Inflation Reduction Act funding. It helps income-qualified households cover the cost of efficiency and electrification upgrades through two tracks: HEAR (electrification & appliances) and HOMES (whole-home efficiency).
Lavi is a supporting contractor in the program — not the program itself. We don't run it and we're not affiliated with any government agency. We're the licensed contractor a homeowner selects to do the qualifying work and manage the submission, backed by an established renovation company.

Rebate amounts below are the program's published caps — the maximum available, not a quote. What your household receives depends on income, the upgrades chosen, and the program's determination.
Most households qualify if…
- You own and live in the home as your primary residence in North Carolina.
- Household income falls within the program's income tiers (many households up to and above 80% of Area Median Income qualify for some level of benefit).
- The upgrade is an eligible measure — heat pump, water heater, insulation, panel, efficient appliance, or a qualifying whole-home retrofit.
Program rebate caps
Caps are per household and per program track. The two tracks generally can't be combined on the same measure, so most projects fall under one. For income-qualified households the program may cover most or all of eligible project costs. Final eligibility and rebate amounts are determined by Energy Saver NC during intake and assessment — figures here are not a guarantee.
